Why here

What makes this different

Real accounts from week one

Your work goes out on live brand accounts with real audiences, reviewed before it posts. Practice accounts teach you almost nothing about how real people behave.

You see the numbers

Every piece you make comes back with data attached. Most people in this industry never get that feedback loop, and it is the reason this role teaches so quickly.

A job at the end

The programme exists to find people we want to keep. Do well over three months and there is an offer waiting. We will tell you honestly where you stand along the way.

How the internship actually runs

Every intern is paired with someone senior and given real work with a written brief: what the job is, which accounts it touches, what not to change, and how we will both know it is finished. That structure is deliberate. Vague instructions are the main reason junior work goes wrong, so we removed them rather than expecting you to read minds. You will know what good looks like before you start, every time, and you can ask at any point without it counting against you.

In your first fortnight your work goes out publicly, reviewed by a human first. After that the work gets bigger. By month three, interns who have done well are running pieces of real accounts, making calls about what goes out, and defending those calls with the numbers. You will have published work with performance data attached, which is a portfolio very few people at your stage can show anyone.

You will see the numbers on everything

This is the part most people never get. Every post, every edit, every caption comes back with data: how many people stopped, how far they got, what they did next. Most people working in social media never see that on their own work, so their instincts stay guesses for years. Here you find out within a day whether the thing you made worked.

That feedback is blunt and it is the fastest teacher there is. It also changes how you argue. Instead of defending a choice on taste you point at what happened last time, which means the newest person in the room can win a disagreement on evidence. We would rather that than seniority deciding everything.

What we are actually looking for

We look at what you have made, not what you have studied. A rough finished piece you can talk about honestly beats polished coursework, in every one of these roles. There is no qualification filter, no minimum grade, and no requirement to have interned before. Your own follower count is not a signal either way, because growing your account and growing a brand's account are different skills.

The trait that predicts success here more than any other is being comfortable finding out you were wrong. Everything is measured, so being corrected is routine rather than a failure. People who treat that as useful information improve very quickly. People who take it personally have a harder time, and we would rather say so plainly now than have you discover it in month two.

Applying

One email, no forms

Email us, name the role you want, link something you have made, and write a paragraph in your own words about it. That is the whole application. We would rather read one honest paragraph than a CV written to please a filter.

Internship FAQ

Questions people ask before applying

Are these internships paid?

We discuss the arrangement with you directly before any interview, so nobody wastes their time on either side. What we will say publicly is that the aim is a job offer at the end for the right person, not free short-term help.

Are the internships remote?

Yes, all of them, fully remote and open worldwide. Social media work is naturally remote and our team already works across several countries, so location genuinely does not matter provided you are reachable during agreed hours.

How long is an internship?

A minimum of three months. Long enough for you to produce real published work with numbers attached, and long enough for us to know whether we want to keep you, which is the point of running it this way.

Do I get a job at the end?

If you are good, yes. We run this to find people worth hiring rather than for short-term help. Not everyone gets an offer, and we will be straight with you throughout rather than leaving you to guess where you stand.

What qualifications do I need?

None specifically. We look at what you have made and how you talk about it. A rough finished piece beats a certificate with nothing behind it in every one of these roles, and there is no minimum grade or age.

Do I need a big following of my own?

No. Growing your own account and growing a brand's account are genuinely different skills, and we are hiring for the second one. Your own following is not a strong signal either way, so please do not worry about it.

How do I apply?

Send one email to goso@ighelp.info naming the role you want, with a link to something you have made and a paragraph in your own words about it. No forms, no CV templates, and no covering letter required.
